This is an autonomous weather station based on an Arduino mini. It sends 4 times a hour the values of the sensors (humidity, temperature and atmospheric pressure) to a server with WiFi.

Bad endurance (2 weeks).
Right now, the Arduino is used in another project.



The device uses 3 batteries AA. The autonomous is around 2 weeks. I tried to reduce the energetic consumption while it is in the sleep mode. I should remove the power diode. Getting a sample each 15 minutes is probably too mutch. I should add a solar panel to extend the batteries or become energetically self-sufficient.


I move frequently and each time, I don't find the right spot to place my weather station. It needs to be in the shade and far from walls.
